Veggie Lentil Steak |
I might have already mentioned my fascination with vegetarian and vegan cooking to you before. If I haven't, well.. now you know! ;)
The creativity involved in the process of producing delicious and appetizing meals using animal product substitutes is simply amazing.
I'm not a vegetarian (or vegan) myself, but I do enjoy eating vegetarian meals every once in a while. I find it mind opening really, how tasty this universe of meat substitution can be.
So today I bring to you my Veggie Lentil Steak. It's delicious, hearty and incredibly satisfying. You won't be missing meat the day you try them. :)

- 1/2 cup of Bread crumbs
- 1 Egg yolk
- 1/2 cup of Chopped onion
- 1 clove of Garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Chopped parsley
- 1 tsp of Dijon Mustard
- 2 tsp of Soy sauce
- 2 tsp of Ketchup
- Salt and pepper to taste

Tips:
- The soy sauce is already salty, so you might not feel the need to add more salt

Your lentil veggie steak looks delicious! My entire family eats meat except for me, so this steak is right up my alley! The next time they are grilling steak, I'll have this instead. Pinning!
